  My family and I stayed at the camp July 1-July 3, 2016. I was surprised at how nice the place was set up. The cabin was a very nice house. The air conditioning worked great. It was very clean and had all of the amenities so if we forgot something, they had it. The boat launch was nice and was easy to use for our bass boat. They even had a private, covered slip for our boat so we could keep it on the water and under cover. It was sized for a bass boat, not a pontoon boat. There was a bigger boat there that was tied up to the bank of the canal. We were connected to the lake by a canal. Less than 5 minutes to get to the open water. The water was very warm this time of year and affected our fishing. Get Mike to teach you how he fishes for catfish. Mike and Norma were very personable and welcoming. I had a nice little talk with Norma about the small town and about the neighborhood. She was genuinely concerned that we were having a good time. The camp has a covered pavilion with tables, a fish cleaning station and ice machine, and a big fan. I would definitely recommend this camp to anyone. The prices are reasonable. I would book this trip again.
